Quant-UNAM Project

An online course on quantum computation

About

This course explores the mathematical foundations of Quantum Computing through a series of video lectures (in Spanish). The course is designed for a flipped classroom format, allowing classroom time to focus on active discussion, problem-solving, and applications of the concepts introduced in the videos.

This is a collaboration with the Faculty of Sciences at the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

Topics covered

Foundations of Quantum Mechanics and the double-slit experiment. Hilbert spaces and operators. Quantum states and observables. Qubits. Tensor products. Composite systems. Schmidt decomposition. Quantum entanglement. Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen paradox. Bell inequalities. Quantum gates and circuits. Quantum algorithms. Deutsch-Jozsa algorithm. Teleportation. Quantum cryptography. Shor's factorization algorithm.
